and we are still ten to fifteen degrees colder than normal for this time of year. Today, low 40s with a fierce cold wind. Students at the university sick of the cold, egging on spring by wearing shorts and tee shirts! Indoor plants have the right idea, too. Full-tilt blooming. So that's what I'm practicing, too.
We are having the same cold issues. We just set a record this morning for the latest in Spring that our temps reached 60 degrees. We still haven't! We usually hit 60 by Valentines Day ... sigh ... I'm so tired of being cold and wet.
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful flowers give me hope that Spring is just around the corner!
we are too, in minnesota. it is still 17 degrees every morning when i get up. it has been like this for weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks. we had indoor bulbs--they sprouted, they grew, they blossomed, they died back, and still it is 17 degrees outside every morning.
