Home

As a kid, I spent every free moment living inside the forsythia bush -- when it bloomed. It was so huge that the blossoms hid me entirely. A brief but miraculous castle.

  1. We too have a miraculous forsythia bush. I have always loved this harbinger of spring! It blooms at the same time as the daffodils.

  2. I always wondered what those bright yellow blossoms were called! I have a vivid memory from childhood-Clytie, do you remember? I filled our room with branches and branches of those lovely golden blossoms--it was like living in a fairy-tale for a day.

  3. I have a miniature weeping willow and sit inside it quite often. It is a beautiful feeling and really connects you to the planet if you live in a town.
